Big shiny button

In this tutorial you are going to learn how to create a button like below:
 

Step 1.
Make a new document sized 400x125 with a grey background. Now make a new layer and using the rounded
rectangle tool create a shape like below and fill it orange :

Now create another layer and fill it with the same color and using the same tool make a selection like 
below :

With the selection still on grab the dodge tool with a soft 5 px and draw a line like this :

Using a bigger dodge brush make this :


Step 2.
Now go to layer > Duplicate layer and using the Up arrow move it around 20 pixels and add the following
layer styles:
Bleding Options

Gradient Overlay:


Now grab the pen tool , make a new layer and create a selection like below:

Go to Edit > Stroke 1 gray pixel. This is the result :

Now with the selection still on grab a larger brush and make something like below:

Set blending mode to Color Dodge:
