Create a better orb

Step 1.
In this tutorial you are going to learn how to make a better looking orb.

So let's start by making a new document 300x300 and fill it any color. I used : .

Step 2.
Grab the eliptical marquee tool and make a round circle by pressing Ctrl+alt to maintain the proportion.

Make a new layer and fill the selection with a blue color.
Press ctrl+x to deselect

Step 3.
With the circle layer selected add the folowing layer settings:
Inner glow:

Satin:

Stroke:
